Dr. Turrentine has the credentials and experience. As a general practioner, Dr. T developed Covid protocols since January 2020 that have saved thousands of lives from Covid-19. Dr. T is working on detoxification protocols to clear chronic fatigue and brain fog.

John Turrentine, M.D. is Board Certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. He has also undergone postgraduate training in Primary Care and Advanced Office Gynecology from Harvard School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.

He has undergone postgraduate training in Urogynecology at Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and also has extensive experience dealing with infertility problems. He performed the first GIFT procedure at West Paces Ferry Hospital in Atlanta in 1984 and joined Dr. Sidney Sellers in his exclusive Gynecological-Infertility practice in Dalton, Georgia in 1998 to 2005.

Having been a solo practice for almost ten years and completed an internship in 1980 from the University of Southern California at Los Angeles County Women's Hospital (internationally famous for its high volume and high risk experience), Dr. Turrentine continued to have a high volume and many years of Obstetrical experience.

His experience from the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin, Ireland (known for the lowest C-section rate) and water birth experience from Ostend, Belgium lead to becoming a certified water birth practitioner. He delivered over 10,000 babies during his career and at one time owned his own nationally accredited and certified birthing center in North Carolina. Dr. Turrentine also had many years of experience administering his own epidural anesthesia and has taught medical groups on this subject.

Dr. Turrentine also teaches the new MIVH (minimally invasive vaginal hysterectomy) method throughout the country. MIVH is a revolutionary method which provides less pain and faster recovery for the patient.

In his concentrated effort to offer complete patient care, he is also an ordained minister holding a doctorate degree in ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary and provides premarital, marital, and family counseling.

To help care for the most avid traveler, Dr. Turrentine also has postgraduate training in Travel Medicine, Aviation Medicine, and Human Underwater Biology. He was a certified FAA Medical Examiner for 25 years. He has written several publications, books, and is an avid speaker, teacher, pilot, and scuba diver. He has also traveled to remote areas of the world to do Medical Missions over a thirty year period.

Dr. Turrentine continues to learn about leading edge technology to be able to teach physicians the newest facts regarding patient care. He is constantly reviewing new data to be able to review medical legal requests for attorneys regarding their cases. His newest interests includes alternative medical care, history, and newer aspects of technical diving.
